Letter Sound Worksheets

Description

There are three types of worksheets in this file, increasing in difficulty as you move through the packet.

Pages 1-5 feature 9 images each (every image begins with a consonant or short vowel sound, though not all words are CVC). Under each picture are 3 letter choices. Students are to circle the letter that matches the beginning sound of each picture.

Pages 6-10 showcase 6 images each. The name of each word (all CVC words) is written underneath the picture, with a blank for students to write in the first letter of the word.

Pages 11-15 show two columns of images. Students must determine the beginning letter of each word and match it to the image on the opposite side with the same beginning letter.
